Nesta cena, um palhaço “acorda” na morgue, pensando ainda estar em plena actuação no circo. Quando percebe que está morto, conta a Edmundo como foi ali parar e como “ganhou” aquele corte à volta do tronco.

In this sequence a clown comes to life in the morgue, thinking he’s still in his circus performance. Realizing he’s dead, the clown tells Edmundo how he ended up in the morgue and how he got that nasty saw cut around his middle torso.
